The family brasserie Weidegeluk is a true family destination, featuring a petting zoo, an outdoor playground and an indoor play area. After years of intensive use, the existing indoor playground had become significantly worn out and no longer met current safety standards.

Leicon was commissioned to transform the space into a modern and safe covered playground where children can once again play and explore to their heart’s content. Leicon developed a design that maximizes fun and play value for children while keeping the client’s budget firmly in mind.
Together with the client, we first evaluated which elements of the existing installation could still be reused. Instead of simply replacing everything, we deliberately opted for a thoughtful and sustainable approach. Several play elements, including slides, could be recovered and integrated into the new design of the structure. This way of working perfectly reflects Leicon’s vision: developing solutions that are both sustainable and budget-friendly.
At the heart of the new indoor playground is a large play structure with tunnels, climbing towers and slides that invite children to go on an adventure. Special attention was also given to the youngest visitors. A separate area was created for them, featuring a play element specifically designed for toddlers and young children, allowing them to safely enjoy the covered play village as well. All sharp corners and edges in the space were also carefully secured.
With this new indoor playground, Weidegeluk once again offers an attractive indoor play zone where children can fully enjoy themselves. By cleverly combining safety, play value and budget control, a sustainable indoor play environment was created that perfectly fits the family concept of the brasserie and will guarantee many years of fun for children.
