ABOUT LEICON
Leicon, officially Leisure Consulting Company, is a Belgian manufacturer of indoor playgrounds, trampoline parks, above-ground swimming pools, and other customised leisure solutions. The company has grown from a small player to an international specialist in the development and production of indoor playgrounds and indoor play structures. Today, Leicon is active throughout Europe, North Africa, and the United States of America, where it realises bespoke projects for clients in the hospitality, retail, recreation, childcare, education, and family entertainment sectors.
All play structures and sail components are fully produced in-house, which means that Leicon has maximum control over quality, finish, and safety. The designs meet the strictest European safety standards for play equipment and are continually adapted to the specific needs of the customer and the location. Because design, production, and assembly are organised internally, Leicon can respond quickly and guarantee flexible delivery times, without compromising on sustainability or play experience.
Leicon distinguishes itself through its creative approach, attention to detail, and customer-oriented service. Whether it involves the design of an indoor play area in a hospitality venue, a trampoline park with ninja obstacles, or a colourful soft play zone in a shopping centre, each project is fully customised. As an experienced producer of indoor play equipment and custom-made play solutions, Leicon delivers sustainable and aesthetically strong concepts at competitive prices, with the assurance of a partner that guides the entire process: from the initial design to installation on site.
Those looking for a reliable manufacturer of play structures, an expert in indoor leisure design, or a supplier of innovative indoor play solutions will find in Leicon an experienced and committed partner with international expertise.

Quality & safety
As a designer and supplier of indoor playgrounds, Leicon is at the forefront of quality. From the design phase, you will notice that quality is of crucial importance to us. After all, our 3D designs give a realistic picture of how your indoor playground will look like in reality. The designs are accompanied by a detailed description of all play values in the playground and this for each level. In addition, our designs excel in creativity and inventiveness. Our goal is to offer you a unique indoor playground. The shape of your building plays little role in this: we can design play structures that seamlessly follow every corner of your indoor playground.
We also have an eye for optimum quality during installation and finishing. As much as possible, we make all parts ourselves which gives us maximum control over the quality of the final product. No piece of iron will remain visible in the play structure after installation. Everything is finished seamlessly with mousse and fireproof PVC. In addition, you can choose the color of the PVC from a range of more than ten different colors.
Since your indoor playground will be used by children, safety is most important. We therefore leave nothing to chance and design and install our play structures according to the applicable European standards EN1176 and EN1177. Moreover, all the basic materials of the indoor playground have fireproof properties and are approved for this purpose. We use fireproof foam that is M1 approved, fireproof PVC that is M2 approved and safety nets that are M3 approved. We can provide fireproof certificates and safety certificates of all our materials. If the local fire department asks you for these certificates as a condition for a permit, we will immediately provide you with a copy.
The safety standards for indoor playground equipment for children are rightly very strict. This is why we always comply with these standards and of course closely follow the evolutions of these standards. To this end, we are in regular contact with the largest European testing organizations such as TÜV and Apave.
Sustainability
At Leicon, we believe that sustainability is the foundation of forward-thinking business. It is not only our responsibility towards the environment, but also a conscious choice to work smarter and more efficiently. By using energy, water, raw materials and people responsibly, we are building a business that is ready for tomorrow.
Sustainability is embedded in the way we think and act. We combine quality and craftsmanship with a clear long-term vision: evolving step by step towards energy-efficient, circular and climate-friendly operations, without compromising on performance or reliability.
This vision applies to everything we do. From our buildings and production to logistics, administration and site management: sustainability is an integral part of every decision.
We also apply this approach to our partnerships. We prefer to work with partners and suppliers who share the same values and are committed to quality, reliability and responsible business practices.

Minimising our impact on the environment is central to our operations. That is why we make
a conscious effort to invest in energy, water and materials that contribute to a more sustainable future.
Our new building, due for completion in 2025, is a prime example of this.
Thanks to well-designed insulation, heat pumps and an expanding installation of solar panels,
we are creating an energy-efficient and future-proof site. Our existing buildings have also been given
extra insulation, so that the entire
infrastructure is being optimised step by step.
When it comes to water management, we are going one step further. With six 20,000-litre
rainwater tanks and an additional buffer, we have a total capacity of 200,000 litres of rainwater.
As a result, we now only use tap water to make coffee, whilst all other applications run on rainwater.
In this way, we make a tangible difference, day in, day out.
During heavy rainfall, our infiltration wells ensure that water can seep into the ground in a controlled manner. At the same time, we are systematically greening our site by planting low-growing trees
in the borders. This not only improves water management but also creates a pleasant working environment. Greenery and shade enhance comfort for our staff and contribute to biodiversity.
We are also committed to smart solutions in our production processes. We sort waste, reuse packaging materials and minimise waste wherever possible. In this way, we are building a system that makes
the most of raw materials. In addition, Leicon’s roofs are gradually being fitted with solar panels,
so that an increasing proportion of our energy comes directly from the sun.
For us, sustainability is not just about the environment, but also about people. A safe, respectful and pleasant working environment is a given for us.
We are strongly committed to safety, order and prevention, and we create a workplace where employees feel at home and can develop. Training and engagement play an important role in this.
Respect is central to everything we do. This applies to our employees, but also to partners, customers and the community in which we operate. By being mindful of our impact on the local area
and the environment, we aim to play a positive role as a company.
To make our progress tangible, we work with clear indicators. These include energy consumption, the proportion of solar energy, the use of rainwater, the utilisation of our 200,000-litre water buffer, waste streams, reuse and safety.
This enables us not only to improve, but also to demonstrate where we stand today and where we want to go.
At Leicon, sustainability is not just a theory, but something you can see and feel on the work floor. Our investments in insulation, heat pumps, solar panels, rainwater harvesting, infiltration and greening make a difference there every day.
We are also constantly making progress in our processes, with a focus on efficient use of materials, maintenance, reuse and the involvement of our staff.
We actively monitor our efforts and make adjustments where necessary. By monitoring energy, water, waste and investments, we keep track of our progress.
This approach enables us to communicate transparently with customers, partners and financial institutions, and to further strengthen our policies.
We achieve sustainability together. That is why we actively involve our employees, customers, suppliers and partners in our story.
Their expectations and feedback help us to continuously improve. Customers and financial partners increasingly expect a clear vision and concrete actions — and we want to respond to that with a strong, well-founded narrative.
At Leicon, sustainability is not a promise, but a reality. Our investments in energy, water, infrastructure and processes demonstrate that we are consciously choosing a forward-looking approach.
Every day, we continue to build a company that is not only of high quality, but also sustainable, efficient and ready for the challenges of tomorrow.
Other activities
Leicon Tarpaulin
As an international designer and manufacturer of indoor playgrounds, Leicon has been a major consumer of PVC cloth and polyether foam rubber for many years. In 2005, an in-house tarpaulin department was started so that other companies can also benefit from our thoughtful purchasing policy. Leicon's bache department produces and repairs tarpaulins for all applications, both for industrial customers and private individuals.
Leicon Swimlanes
Like most companies, Leicon was affected by the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19 in the spring of 2020. During the first lockdown in Belgium, we created a new type of surface-mounted swimming pool with the raw materials from our indoor playgrounds. Long, narrow, affordable and for real swimming. At the end of 2020, a shorter model with countercurrent was launched, for endless swimming. Thanks to its succes, Leicon Swimlanes remains on the market even after the COVID-crisis.
